Environment
For our current climate change research endeavors, we are currently exploring the applications of algae in deep marine ecosystems for CO2 sequestration and combatting climate change. The alga we are presently studying is Macrocystis pyrifera (Giant Kelp). At Artfully Green Inc., we have teamed up with a local university professor to guide us in our research. Our research has been presented at a TEDx event and featured on the official TEDx YouTube channel (see below).
In our efforts to help the Chinese people and medical workers fight against COVID19, we raised more than $20,000 to supply the city of Wuhan with masks and other medical supplies during a shortage of supplies.* We organized and shipped thousands of medical supplies over to Wuhan.
Locally we have launched Jacksonville Against COVID-19. More information can be found on Jacksonville Against COVID-19 here.
* Our efforts were recognized by a local Wuhan news station as well as CCTV, the state-run national news media in China.
